PROCESSING ADDTIVIES – Processing additives helps in improving the resistance of rubber to heat, oxidation, sunlight, ozone, and mechanical stresses. These include a wide range of product types, such as accelerators, activators, vulcanizing agents, anti-degradants (anti-oxidants and anti-ozonants), and stabilizers, among others. These meet the requirements for such properties as good resilience, abrasion resistance, flex resistance, hardness, and tensile strength for product-specific end-use applications.
SILICONE EMULSION – They form water repellent resin coatings. Emulsion made with methyl silicone resin. When used to treat fabrics, it imparts anti-slip properties. These emulsions form a silicone rubber film as they dry. Silicone emulsions for use in a variety of applications and industries including textiles, household ,Rubber & plastics, Release agents & lubrication.
BLOWING AGENT – Rubber Blowing Agent is a chemical added to rubbers that generates inert gases on heating, causing the resin to assume a cellular structure. It is also known as foaming agent. … MICROFOAM DNPT is used in Footwear Industry, Hawai Chappals, Rubber Slipper, Light Weight Slipper, Shoes, etc.
STEARIC ACID – These rubber grade stearic acid are used as an activator, dispersing agent, plasticize and lubricant in rubber compound processing. Further, rubber grade stearic acid also finds application for an external lubricant and viscosity depressant in PVC processing. Stearic acid also has functional value in other industries, including textiles, construction, and personal care.
INSOLUBLE SULPHUR OT-20 – Crystex is a polymeric form of sulfur that is a non-blooming vulcanizing agent for rubber. By being insoluble in rubber, Crystex prevents sulfur migration and, in turn, bloom which interferes with the tire building process. The use of insoluble sulfur is critical for the manufacture of quality radial tires & treads.
SULPHUR POWDER – The most common appears as yellow crystals or powder. Sulfur is used in the vulcanization of black rubber, as a fungicide and in black gunpowder. Most sulfur is, however, used in the production of sulfuric acid, which is perhaps the most important chemical manufactured by western civilizations.
ZINC STEARATE – The three main uses of zinc Sterate are heat stabilization, release agent and lubricant. It is used as an emulsifier in cosmetics and toiletries. Its non-stick property makes it useful as a mold release agent for producing rubber objects, polyesters, and powder metallurgy. Zinc Stearate is used in vulcanizing rubber as a activator.
